The City of Hillview has a recreation
area that is available to it's residents. The recreation department includes a gym that is located at Hillview City Hall.
The gym is open for basketball on a daily basis to Hillview residents. The gym schedule is displayed at the bottom of
this page.
During the fall and winter months various youth basketball leagues utilize this facility
for practice and games. For more information about these leagues as well as other youth leagues (including football, cheerleading,
baseball, and soccer) contact Bullitt County Parks and Recreation at (502) 543-4592.
The gym is available for rentals as well. The fee is $25.00
per hour for city residents and $35.00 per hour for non-residents. We also have a meeting room available for rent for small
parties. The fee for that room is $20.00 an hour for a city resident and $30.00 an hour for a non-resident. Effective
12/31/11, check or money order only is required for all rental payments. For more information
on rental availability, contact Terry Bohannon at (502) 957-4444.
There is also a park at this location, located directly between Hillview City Hall
and the Hillview Police Department. The park houses a picnic area with a covered pavilion, picnic tables, and grills. The
park is available on a first come first serve basis. There is a softball field and an open area that is perfect for football
or soccer.
